When to Buy and Sell Stocks?
Timing a trade well is about session structure and volatility, not a single magic hour — here's the practical version.

- Indian equity markets run 09:15–15:30 IST on trading days; the first and last 30–45 minutes usually see the highest volatility and volume.
- Many traders avoid opening large positions in the first few minutes, when prices can be noisy before the session settles.
- Scheduled events — results season, RBI policy days, Union Budget day — routinely widen ranges and are worth marking on a calendar in advance.
- Some traders also reference Muhurat-style auspicious timing culturally, but it has no proven effect on price behaviour beyond the special Diwali session.
- Whatever the entry window, the exit plan — target and stop-loss — has more influence on the outcome than the exact minute of entry.
